A Brief History
Of Love

(Tap or hover on a date for a photo reveal!)

2010 – 2012

Sam and Roy met in college theatre and became “just friends” (or so they thought).

2012 – 2018

Meow meow meow meow ~ A six-year gap. Life happened. (Next: 16 moments from thousands. Brace yourself 📸)

October 29, 2018

Their first catch-up since college. Cue: two old friends, meet again, wearin' older faces... 😄 Roy was late, though.

July 15, 2019

Right time, right rhythm, and just like that, they were no longer just friends. ❤️

August 10, 2019

Sam met Roy’s parents. She was nervous; Roy was chill, what’s not to love about this woman? 😎

August 18, 2019

Just a week later, Sam met Roy’s Agustin family, now sweaty, clinging to walls, and wondering if this was a test. 🧗‍♀️

October 6, 2019

Roy met Sam’s family, and  surprised them with his karaoke “talent.” 🎤😅

December 7, 2019

Roy met Sam’s mom. His turn to be nervous, but luckily, Tita seemed to approve. 💖

December 26, 2019

Roy’s parents met Sam’s mama in Bataan… without Roy. He was busy befriending cows in New Zealand. 🐄🇳🇿

2020

A blurry year of worry, but also family bonds, play with Cora, Polar & Helen, DIY dates, and Ate Aying’s kitchen magic. 🐾

December 17, 2021

Stranded in Palawan during Typhoon Odette. No signal, no ATM, just teamwork and shared values. 🌀❤️

July 2, 2022

Baguio trip for Roy’s parents’ anniversary. Museum strolls, military cadette tour, and cozy double dates. ⛰️

December 2022 – January 1, 2023

Christmas in Japan with fam. Lights, rides, and a briefly lost Sam chasing anime stuff in Akihabara. 🎌

July 15, 2023

Anniversary adventure in Taiwan, sweet memories and first talks about the future. 🌇❤️

June 2024

Vietnam trip with Sam’s mama. History walks and plenty of affordable veggies. 🇻🇳🥬

October 19 - 28, 2024

Sam’s birthday in Dubai. Dunes, The Louvre, anime con (she’s unstoppable!), and Roy meets her dad before The Day. 😉

October 29, 2024

Engaged in San Vicente, Palawan. Exactly six years after reconnecting. Full circle. ✨

FAQ

Things you might be wondering

What should I wear?

Come as you are. We only do vibe checks here! But if you’d like to match the mood, our theme is Tropical Filipiniana (Pantropiko). Think light fabrics, playful textures, and festive colors. Barongs, summer dresses, florals, or anything breezy and celebratory are all welcome.📌 Here’s our mood board for inspiration.

How do we get there? Is there parking?

Yes! Casa San Pablo has designated parking.

📍 Landmark:
Near San Pablo City Proper. Pin Casa San Pablo on Waze or Google Maps.

🚗 By Car:
Take SLEX and exit at Sto. Tomas or Turbina, then follow signs to San Pablo (approx. 1.5–2 hrs from Manila).

🚌 By Bus:
Ride one bound for Lucena and get off at San Pablo Medical Center or Ultimart Mall, then take a tricycle.

Check it out on google maps!

What’s the food and drink situation?

Expect a Filipino-tropical feast: hearty dishes, fresh flavors, and a few surprises. We’ll also have an open bar with cocktails, coolers, and local favorites. Drink responsibly and toast with us!

Got dietary restrictions? Let us know via the RSVP form so we can prepare accordingly.

Where should we stay?

Casa San Pablo has charming on-site rooms and special discounted rates for our guests. If you wish to stay before, on the day, or even after the wedding, you're more than welcome to make it a restful getaway. Just message them directly and mention the San Jose – Estropia wedding when booking.

They also have a cozy cafe that's open daily from morning to evening, perfect for anyone looking to relax, grab a bite, or even work remotely.

What’s the schedule and venue like?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early, we’re starting on time! We’ll be at Casa San Pablo, a cozy garden venue in Laguna full of tropical charm. Most of the celebration will be outdoors (under trees, fairy lights, and open skies!), so wear something comfy.

The program winds down around 9:00 PM, and the café stays open until 10:00 PM for your caffeine fix. We won’t have an after-party, just a heartfelt wind-down under the stars. ✨

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

We truly love your little ones, and while we wish we could celebrate with everyone, we’ve chosen to have an intimate wedding so that each guest can fully relax and enjoy. Unless your child was mentioned in the invitation, this will be an adult-only celebration. 💛

As for plus ones, if your invite includes one, we’d be so happy to welcome them. If not, we hope you’ll understand. With limited seats, every spot has been thoughtfully reserved to keep the celebration personal and heartfelt.

Can we take photos and videos?

Absolutely! Feel free to snap away, as long as you’re still present and enjoying the celebration. Our amazing photographers (yep, the same team behind our prenup shoot!) are pros at capturing real, candid moments, so just be your natural, joyful selves. Ngala ngala shots of Sam and awkward poses of Roy are more than welcome. 😉

📸 After the wedding, we’ll share a folder where you can upload and download photos.

Plans changed or can’t make it?

We totally understand, life happens! If you need to update your RSVP, you can do so on the website or just send us a quick message. While we’ll miss you, what matters most is the love we share beyond the day itself. 💛

And if you’d like to send a message or greeting in any form, we’d be so happy to receive it. Let’s also find time to catch up soon! ✨
